Artist of New Orleans coming together to improve ourselves and our city. |
||
|
New Orleans is one of the few "authentic" cultures left in America. The things that travelers come from all over the world to partake are what New Orleanians do as a part of the cycle of life. Our lives tend to be filled with times where we must costume, create or perform to satisfy our unique traditions and rituals. Big Chief, Montana set the standard for the Mardi Gras Indian tradition when he declared that the only competition amongst the tribes was about the "new suit"... what you are putting into your art. This website is dedicated to the artists who bubble up from the complex "Gumbo" that is New Orleans. |
